Hi, My name is Veanna and I’m an Architect but also a hobby sewist based in London. I’d like to share my projects with you and would love to learn from you too!
Me and Boffi, my exotic shorthair baby (acutally he’s quite big and need to lose weight..)

Hello there, I am a graduate in fashion with experience in pattern cutting and draping, sewing and tailoring. If you need any advice, just comment on my blog!
I am loving your blog too and I am also following!
Thank you! I’ll definitely check out your blog
Thank you!
Awww… Boffi is gorgeous and I am already in love with your blog. Thank you for popping over to see me too!
Thank you. Lovely to meet you too!
Hi, my name is Tiffani, and I was wondering do you know how to make a long sleeve Maxi dress??? I want one shoulder kind of hanging off!!! Is this possible to have in two weeks???
Hi Tifanni, I guess it depends on your sewing skills. Are you new to sewing or have sewn a few times already? If you have sewn before (such as a skirt or a simple top) and can devote good hours to sew, you should be able to make something like this:

Or

A dress that has a tight fitting bodice with boning will take more time, such as this one:

Hope that helps!
Hi Veanna, I have a couple of awards for you over at http://bellemegan.wordpress.com/2012/12/13/blog-awards-thanks-and-apologies/ Keep up the fab posts! Anne ps, love your cat! I lost my persian this year, they leave such a big hole in your heart.
Thanks so much! That’s very kind of you. Yes I love them both. Sometimes I show more love and patience to the cats than my husband but he did the same too. They are brothers but have completely different character. Both very loving though.
Hi Veanna! I’m loving your blog and have already learned several handy tips! I really like how each blog you write seems to be just as much about imparting knowledge as sharing your latest project. Just brilliant! Keep it up. Becky x
Hi Becky, thanks for your support. I’m glad the blog posts are of any use to you. I use the blog to document the things I made, things I learned and problems I encountered. I feel that the blog helps me to stay focus on my projects as well. See you around!
Hi. I just found your blog via a Pinterest pin, and so happy that I did! Your tutorials are beautifully photographed and instructions are clear. Just what I’ve been looking for! I’ve bookmarked it and know I’ll be using it often.
Thanks Roxanne! I’m glad you enjoy reading the blog. See you around!
Hi Veanna,
I probably forgot how to spell your name before. Came by your website through WordPress. Its Matt, if you still remember from HK arch class. So long ago, but freakish to meet again this way online. Btw, Congrats on your hobbies and website, all looks great. Wish I could find a hobby and create such a website too. Anyway, keep it up the great dazzling show of creativity.
Cheers,
Matt
Hi Matt, Thanks so much and it’s really a small world! Sewing is a quick ‘return’ hobby quite different from architecture, aka instant satisfaction! Look forward to seeing your blog too!
Hi, this is Latrice (Trice) from SewTell. I really enjoy reading your blog.
I would love to nominate your blog for the Liebster Award.
However, I need to make sure your blog has less than 200 followers.
I hope to post about the award by the end of the week. Thanks
Hi Trice, thanks for considering me on the nomination! I think I have more than 200 followers though so unfortunately I’ll need to opt out. Thanks again!
